How do I get started?
You can start by calling Kat or filling out the contact form below to schedule a complimentary call. On our call we will discuss your availability and needs. From there we can schedule your introductory private yoga session.
What supplies do I need?
You’ll need a mat, two yoga blocks, and an eye pillow. It’s okay if you don’t have everything you need for the introductory session. Kat recommends a Manduka Pro Light mat or Jade Harmony mat for a yoga practice, and a manduka hand towel if you tend to get sweaty.
I'm just looking to do a one-time session. Do you do that?
We work with clients who are interested in working with a private yoga instructor on a weekly, on going basis. Although we do offer single sessions, clients with weekly packages will always get preference with scheduling.
I live outside the neighborhoods listed. Will you travel to me?
We only teach in the neighborhoods listed, but can work with you through skype or happily refer you to another instructor if needed.
Can you rent a studio space if I don't have room?
Due to the limited availability that comes with space rentals, we work only with students in their apartments and online.
What are your rates?
In-home private yoga session rates are comparable to private psychotherapy rates. Online skype sessions are a bit less. Semi-private lessons (2-4 students) and small group classes (5-10 students) are a bit more. We’ll give you a quote on our phone consultation.
I've never done yoga before. Is this for me?
Absolutely. We love working with beginners!
